Description

I need to sell off my candle making supplies.   You are buying a 12 lbs. Box of pure soy wax. This wax is recommended for container candles. This wax has great scent throw, hot or cold. Burns 50% longer than parrifin wax candles. Soy Wax burns clean and holds fragrance well without additives.   At the end of the auction, let me know if you would like any additional amounts, or fragrances. Thanks for looking. An all natural soy wax that holds lots of fragrance oil and helps reduce frosting. A favorite of soy candle makers everywhere!Candle Making Notes Golden Brand's soy waxes are a little newer than those from Cargill and Nature's Gifts, but they've become some of our favorites. It has been very consistent over time, and gives a smooth and creamy appearance - mostly due to its low melt point. While this helps create a nice look and helps to reduce frosting, it can be a little too soft for the summer heat. If you are shipping finished candles in hot weather, you may want to look at a soy wax with a higher melt point. Golden Brands holds lots of fragrance, but even better, it throws fragrance very well, hot or cold. There are other soy waxes that hold as much, but we've found that if you put this wax up against other waxes - all with the same amount of fragrance - you get the best fragrance throw with this one. This wax is very consistent, so a beginner will be able to make a terrific candle if they follow the directions closely. Just use one of our soy-tested fragrance oils (ratings of 2 and 3 work best), check out our wick guide, and get started! Directions: - Heat soy wax to 185 F (so fragrance oil fully dissolves)- Add fragrance oil and color- Remove from heat and stir gently for 2 minutes- Allow soy wax to cool to desired pour temperature (I do mine when it is slightly slushy)- Stir gently one last time and pour candle
